I'm John Fitzgibbon, an artist who has spent many years painting, teaching watercolor workshops, and sharing my love of art with others. Although I enjoy working in a variety of mediums, watercolor has always been my favorite. There's something about its freshness, spontaneity, and unpredictability that keeps me coming back to it. I love the way it captures light, color, and emotion with a life of its own.
In addition to my landscape, wildlife, and figurative work, I also create custom pet portraits. As an animal lover, I enjoy capturing the unique personality and spirit of beloved pets and creating artwork that families can treasure for years to come.
My wife, Debbie, and I live in Springfield, Missouri, where I work from my studio. These days, I spend my time painting, creating commissioned artwork, teaching workshops, and participating in art shows.
